"Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love." 1 John 4:7-8

Welcome to the International Christian Academy. We are located approximately 60 miles North of New York City, in the Hudson Valley of New York.

Our students are life-learners, ranging in age from Preschool to High School and enjoy a custom educational environment, tailored specifically to their unique talents, needs, and distinct personal interests. As an educational model, we closely resemble a combination of Sudbury and Montessori educations. Our foundation is found in God's word.

On a daily basis, our students and facilitators are engaged in activities and discussions on a myriad of organically educational topics, experiences, and discover real-world situations where a love of learning is naturally fostered.

Our students enjoy an environment enriched in S.T.E.A.M. activities (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics). They enjoy procedural literacy via Engineering activities, Computer Programming games and tools, and specific coding languages such as Python, Alice, Java, and HTML. They engage in the multi-player sandbox game of Minecraft, and enjoy Minecraft modding and coding. Various software packages, online learning tools, educational databases, YouTube videos, University lectures and TED Talks are available to our students at any time, as well as modern STEM learning tools, kits, and projects.

Architecture and Engineering tools are also available, with various challenging LEGO Education kits for building machines, and participating in LEGO League challenges via robotics, varied software for 3D modeling, and a professional 3D printer for printing tangible creations.

A plethora of books can be found in our library, along with several reading nooks where an enthusiasm for literacy thrives, and time with literature is uninterrupted.

Indoor activities for exercising the imaginative, logical, collaborative, strategic and critical thinking skills include classic board games such as Chess, Rubik's cubes, Othello, Monopoly, Simon, Jenga, and Set, amongst others.

Physical activity outdoors include hiking, walking, swimming, diving, cycling, skating, sledding, and trampoline games.

Here at the International Christian Academy, we are happy to serve our local community by volunteering for 10 hours per month to supply our time, materials and talents to organize and facilitate the activities for a local S.T.E.A.M. initiative of approximately 40 children, ages 3-14yrs at no cost to the participating families.

We give thanks and all the glory to God, and praise the Lord for all of His grace and blessings!
